Changing the network interface that PaperCut listens on

PaperCut listens on all available network interfaces by default. If your server has multiple IP addresses (i.e. is multi-homed), PaperCut accepts connections to all these addresses. Alternatively, you can configure it to listen on a single, defined interface. To configure PaperCut to listen on a single network interface:

1. Open [app-path]/server/server.properties in a text editor.

2. Add a new line:

   server.listen-interface=1.2.3.4

   where 1.2.3.4 is the (static) IP address of the network interface for PaperCut to listen on.

3. Restart the service PaperCut Application ServerAn Application Server is the primary server program responsible for providing the PaperCut user interface, storing data, and providing services to users. PaperCut uses the Application Server to manage user and account information, manage printers, calculate print costs, provide a web browser interface to administrators and end users, and much more.
